DentalVerify — Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 2026
1. General Agreement
By accessing dentalverify.co or utilizing services provided by DentalVerify (“we”, “us”), operated by Dr. Patrick Whilby, DDS (Texas Dental License #32494), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Nature of Service (No Emergency Care)
DentalVerify is an asynchronous educational teledentistry consultation platform. We do not provide emergency dental care. If you are experiencing severe swelling, uncontrollable bleeding, trauma, or difficulty breathing, call 911 or go to an emergency room immediately.
3. Service Fees & Refund Policy
Flat Fee: DentalVerify charges a one-time fee of $149.00 USD per case review.
Turnaround Guarantee: Reviews are typically delivered via video link within 48 hours of receiving diagnostic-quality X-rays.
Refund Eligibility: If DentalVerify fails to deliver a video review within 48 hours or determines that your uploaded X-rays are completely unreadable and cannot be remediated, a full refund of $149 will be issued to your original payment method. Once a video review report has been recorded and delivered, the fee is non-refundable.
4. Intellectual Property & Permitted Use
The video walkthroughs, reports, and summary notes generated by DentalVerify are provided solely for your personal, non-commercial use to assist in discussions with licensed healthcare providers. You may not modify, sell, or publicly distribute review materials for commercial gain.
5. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, DentalVerify, Dr. Patrick Whilby, DDS, and its reviewing dentists are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from treatment decisions made between you and your in-person treating dentist. All educational evaluations are provided “as is” based strictly on user-uploaded records.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes shall be brought exclusively in state courts located in Texas.
